About forgivenes

We're so busy thinking about our own bruises and our own scars
We forget how to forgive

But if we just take the time to peek into someone else's world
Even unforgivable will be forgiven

Friend makes the world go round - Buat Lala

(Buat Lala)

What is the world consisting of? The world consists of yesterday, today, tomorrow, happiness, sorrow, friendship, you name it! The list can go on and on. But today, I feel like the only thing that makes the world go round is a certain friend.

I called it a farewell email, she said that she will leave this island and go for another exciting journey with her new family. “Gosh, another good friend is gone”, I thought.

I’ve known her for about 9 years. For some reasons, it’s always nice talking with her, maybe because we shared the same birth sign. We shared most of things related to –adventure activities – , from Rinjani to white water rafting, from Sekongkang waterfall to Hickey’s trail. “Ahhhh, we’ve shared many things, didn’t we?” I whispered

Not once or twice we talked so much about God’s creature so called “Man!!” an interesting topic to discuss, heh...I remember on a rainy day when we rode on your motorcycle, and ended up at the Sate Rembiga. We’ve never planned to go there, it was something spontaneous but we ended up spending the whole afternoon talking and sharing stories (off course with the sate!).

I guess, having you as my friend is part of my friendship world, it moves things in that area and it’s just nice feeling having this kind of friend.

Hey you!!! Thanks for everything, thanks for being you. It is a pleasure to have crossed path with you in this so called Sumbawa Island. I will miss your presence here, I definitely will miss a person who has “lelet/telat/lambat” tag on her hehe.

I will miss your little one for sure, thinking of her growing up, it will be so much fun!! Say hi to Uncle Sam from me, will you?

Gambatte kudasai!

Friend does make my world go round, how about yours?

To the one I love

In our lives, there are times when we can’t fulfill our promises

There are times when love doesn’t blossom

There are times when dream don’t come true

We live our life groping, trying to solve a quiz that has no answer

Tomorrow if someone you love were to die, what kind of food should you give them to eat last?

Tomorrow if someone you love is to lose their voice, what kind of words would you like to hear from them last?

Tomorrow if someone you love, eyes were to lose their sight, what should you last reflect in those eyes

The sweetest taboo

“Would you like to have a cup of coffee or may be some lattes? I know there is a nice café one block away from this general literature section”, the girl's breaking the silence

“Ohh, oke although you shouldn’t have **grin**”, said the guy

“Ahhh, it’s the least that I can do after I spill out your coffee on your jacket”, replied the girl.

The world knows that coffee is never a kind of drink to the girl, yet she offers him a cup of coffee, under her guilty feeling, after accidentally running into this guy on the way to the library and spills his coffee all over his jacket.

“I’ll have a cup of cappuccino and one of those cheese cake, please”, said the girl.

“I’ll have the same, thanks”, this nice guy told the waiter

5 minutes later their order arrived.

Not sure how long they’ve talked. About the weather, the unique café where most of the guests are student, smiling at each other, giggling, commenting each other notes (they’re from the library by the way, taking notes of some ancient literature).

Until suddenly the girl said, “May I kiss you?”

Silence for a while… and then she continued, “I am sorry, it’s just that… I feel that you are very nice guy, and I just can’t resist seeing your beautiful smile without hhuummm...and makes me…hhuummm”

Before long explanation, the guy leans on her and starts to kiss the girl, gently and soft. Nothing spectacular about the kiss, simply a very sweet, sort, gentle and soft kiss.

Ahhh, it’s the kiss that makes her want to come back to this place

Hmmm...

~~ to be continued

I wish I have stiletto shoes that is still on my forever shopping list

I wish there is such a thing as shower machine, so I don’t need to shower every night, please..
I wish I have anymore idea to write this ‘till it finish

Take a bow

Take abow
The night is over, this maquerade is getting older
Lights are low, the curtain's down
There's no one here
...
..

In some countries taking a bow is an act of respect to somebody, someone older, someone who has higher position, or for the elder

Japan or Korea for instance, when people see their elder or their parent or kakak pertama, the first thing they do is taking a bow. It is a symbol of respect.

In Indonesia, we show respect by sungkeman (kalo Lebaran or hari Besar) or cium tangan ke orang tua, kakak, nenek kakek..

I think it is something that the Western world don't have, and we all should be proud of our culture. In Western world, taking a bow is only after you performed things...opera, music concert or maybe an orchestra...

Just my thoughts of tonight! Sooww, shall we continue the Madonna song?

Take abow
The night is over, this maquerade is getting older
Lights are low, the curtain's down
There's no one here

Say your line, but do you feel them?
Do you mean what you say, when there's no one around
Watching me watching you
One lonely star
...

Don't you love a happy ending?

Don't you love a happy ending?
I just looooovvvveeee happy ending.

This weekend, I spent 2 days watching serial Drama on my laptop. It was a story about a life of family gangster, their life, wealth, murder and off course romance, with love triangle scenes dwonk!!

The leading role actor was a good looking guy, tough guy personality, very cool and just cool, and the leading lady was a pretty and smart surgeon.

Anyway, I was watching from episode 1 to 7 (it was 20 episodes, by the way), but I'm so just curious about the ending....so, yes I did it, I sneaked peak the ending, skipped the 8th episode and jumped into the 20th episode... I know, I know, you are not supposed to take a sneak peak of the ending (some people said it will ruin the surprise :) ), but I just can't stand wondering about the ending... so I did it.

After knowing that it was a happy ending movie, then I continued from the episode that I left, which is 8th episode all the way through the 20th episode.

I wonder if the ending was sad, maybe I dis-continue watching the movie...movie supposed to cheering you up, not making you sad...so, should always be a happy end... hehehe maksa

Don't you love a happy ending?

I know I do!!

The chosen one!

Ever wonder why you were sometimes in the position where you did not expect things, and it just come to your door?

Ever wonder how things may be blured at the first time and by time all of them become more sense to you?

Ever wonder when you were not expect things to happen, all of the sudden the things that you hate the most fall on your lap, just like that..in a blink! ?

Those things that I felt, 2 days ago.

Being there for someone in need
Being there to take care things
Being there to comfort

Just being there, me, my selfish me, and just me...to just be there for those in need

Helping the one in need

I thought to my self....gosh, am I the chosen one?
There is always reason behind everything

Then I realize, and I believe that, this is the way my God teach me and show me how to have
Al Latief
Ar Rahman
Ar Rahim
As Shabur

All the things that I'm not good at, things that make "special me" different from other people

I am the chosen one, and I'm glad that I am

With humble smile, I whispered.....thank you God for the lesson

Ahhh, seandainya ada..

Gue mellow
Hari ini mellow
Gak tau kenapa
Ahhh, tak perlu tanya

Kunikmati saja
Apakah karena dia?
Ahhhh, itu kan hanya cerita
Cerita yang direkayasa

Tapi aku merasa kalo itu adalah nyata
Dan kemellow-an ini lebih karena
Dia tak ada
Dia tak pernah ada
Atau mungkin dia belum ada?

Gayanya
Perhatiannya
Posturnya

Duhh, kapan yaa dia akan ada?
Rasanya tak sabar berjumpa

Sampai saat itu tiba
Boleh dong jika menghayalkannya
Ahhh, seandainya ada..

20 Things the world should know about me

I AM....

1. more stressed about my family issues than my work issue

2. and if I am stressed about it, I tend to istighfar and wet my eyes with tears

3. since 3 months ago, spending most of my time on site, at night alone

4. however even if I am alone, that doesn't mean that I am lonely

5. cable TV, internet, books and housekeeping kept me busy

6. a passionate lone traveller, my friends told me that "Wik, what's so fun about travelling alone?"

7. smiling at them and said to them straight in the eyes that you never know until you've tried!!

8. a 'kind of' selfish and cuek person

9. a "sharp and sort memory" kind of person, but if in term of debt, I always remember as my religion advise us to pay all of our debt soon (coz we never know what the future will bring!)

10. I valued honesty, responsiblity and that giving is better than taking

11. not a big fan of any pets

12. a certified open water diver, but since I saw shark at Benete bay one day when I dive, I stop diving (and also because since 2005 I've been wearing jilbab)

13. a biggest books fan, any kind (except comics...sorry comics lover!)

14. enjoying reading new stuff, things that I never thought in work or social life.... I am now reading a book written by Mireille Guiliano, French Woman for All Season...

15. not a Harry Potter fan, never in my mind can imagine that a tree can spoke words..

16. more a realistic that futuristic

17. enjoying reading a novel or book or manuscript based on a true story (not a biography though), it's just so interesting to know other human being journey or life experiences.

18. dreaming about going to Europe again, from Eastern to Western Europe, Cheko maybe my next destination, or maybe Aberdeen in Scotland...we'll see

19. thinking about working overseas, but so far the opportunity that knock on my door is still in the continent that I am (not sure) will survive...hey, I am a realistic person after all!

20. sleepy now, so I must continue this tomorrow, coz I have to work tomorrow (Saturday in the office, what can be more fun than that hehehe!)

il Feel

Il Feel, kependekan dari ilang feeling

Have you ever feel that "il feel" soon after you have long conversation with someone?

Have you ever realise that some people is just so stubborn and arogan and only thinking that it is the universe who is wrong, and not looking inside self?

Such an arogan, stubborn, stuck-up....really shame for someone as smart as you!

About a BOY

It's not about a movie played by Hugh Grant
It's not about a book written by Nick Hornby

It is a message from a dying father to his beloved daughter, it said:

About a BOY
Ignore what they say;
Pay attention to what they do;

Wooww, such a short message with deep meaning

What sort of qualities are you looking for?

Unfortunately, I don have the answer
It's bluring lately, why? I'll tell you why..

It's a "High Maintenance" things, things that I'm not good in explaining

About LOVE

Maybe not everything lasts forever, but when it comes to LOVE, it will....

LOVE is about trusting your brother with his judgment even though it's tough call
LOVE is about giving simply morning hug to your love ones

Papa Alpha Charlie Alpha Romeo

Masih inget ketika waktu era 80-an dimana kita masih asyik dengan radio komunikasi, “breaker go ahead!”, serasa bangga banget (aku maksudnya) punya teman di udara, kenalan ber Q S O (ngobrol di udara) dan kalo cocok dan nyambung bisa langsung ber Q S L (ketemuan)..

Hehe, kalo inget, lucu banget.

Jadi ingat lagunya almarhum Farid Harja

Berkenalan nama samaran lewat gelombang radio
Lima sembilan tujuh tiga angka untuk mu
Mengundang bercumbu
Ber QSO lalu cerio, cup ah cup ah cup ah cup ah
Diudara slalu bertemu kupanggil namamu, kupanggil namamu

Papa Alpha Charlie Alpha Romeo
Mengajakku gombal di udara
Memang cinta asyik dimana saja
Walau di angkasa
...dst

Technology membuat jarak semakin gak berarti yaa...

Apa yang akan terjadi dengan teknologi komunikasi di era 2050-an yaa… hhmmm will see, mudah-mudahan kita masih ada di tahun itu
